CM condemns Coimbatore assault on 10-year-old girl, orders swift police probe, two accused held

Joseph Vijay on the tragedy that befell a 10-year-old girl in Coimbatore The horrific incident that occurred yesterday involving a 10-year-old girl in Coimbatore is deeply distressing and shocking. Such inhuman and unforgivable criminal acts can never be tolerated in our society. I share my deep sorrow with the family and relatives of the girl, who are grieving the loss of their most precious child. Two persons connected with this case have been arrested. I have directed the police to conduct a thorough and swift investigation into the incident and to take all necessary steps to file the chargesheet without delay. The Tamil Nadu Government will act with firm resolve to ensure that those who commit such lawless acts against women and children receive the strictest punishment under the law.
