Hon'ble Minister for School Education, Tamil Development, Information and Publicity Thiru Raj Mohan today (27.05.2026) inspected the ongoing construction of the new Bharat Ratna Karunanidhi head office building, being built at a cost of Rs.8.93 crore on Beach Road, Chennai. He personally visited and inspected the construction work of the new Bharat Ratna Karunanidhi head office building, being built over 19,741 square feet at a cost of Rs.8.93 crore on Beach Road, Chennai, and directed Public Works Department officials to complete the construction work to a high standard and quickly, and bring it into use. At the review, N.S. Isai, a Class 5 student of the Peranthurai Panchayat Union Primary School, Nallur Panchayat Union, Cuddalore district, recited 1330 Thirukkural couplets and explained their meanings. Following this, S. Kavya, another Class 5 student of the same school, correctly identified the national flags and names of 195 countries. The Hon'ble Minister interacted with the students, encouraged them to further develop their individual talents, conveyed his wishes, and presented them with gifts.
