Nirmal Kumar today (29.05.2026) presented, at the Secretariat, appointment orders to 45 Government Assistant Public Prosecutors (Grade 2) selected by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, and appointment orders for 5 Bursar posts in Tamil Nadu Government Law Colleges — a total of 50 orders. Assistant Public Prosecutors Grade-2, who belong to the Criminal Prosecution Wing, conduct criminal cases in the Sessions Courts and Metropolitan Sessions Courts. In addition, on deputation, they serve as legal advisors in various government departments.
