Applications for first-year and part-time diploma courses have been arranged to be registered online from 04.05.2026 to 30.06.2026, and as of 31.05.2026, a total of 18,888 candidates — 16,072 male and 2,816 female — have applied for first-year diploma courses. Counselling will be conducted by the respective colleges for applicants and admissions will follow. Industry 4.0 skill centres have been set up in partnership with TATA at 44 government polytechnic colleges in Tamil Nadu.
