Commercial Taxes Minister Logesh Tamilselvan Makes Surprise Inspection of Madurai Sub-Registrar Offices

Hon'ble Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration Thiru T. Velaksh Tamilselvan Inspects Sub-Registrar Offices in Madurai District Today (04-06-2026) Hon'ble Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration Thiru T. Velaksh Tamilselvan today (04-06-2026) conducted surprise inspections at the Sub-Registrar offices at Tirupparankundram, Nagamalai Pudukkottai, Sathurpatti, Othakadai and Tirumangalam in Madurai district. During the inspection, he examined the basic facilities at the offices, interacted with members of the public who had come for registration, and asked them whether anyone had demanded a bribe for document registration, stating that if anyone demanded money and caused trouble, they could complain to him or to the Anti-Corruption officials. He also enquired with the officials on duty about office work, examined the document registers, and checked how many documents had been received for registration that day, how many registrations had been completed, and whether all past deed registration details had been correctly uploaded, and enquired about the details of pending documents. He further instructed officials to provide proper seating facilities for members of the public who come for registration, carefully attend to their grievances, avoid taking bribes, complete document registrations promptly, and hand over the registered deeds to the concerned persons on the same day.
