PRESS RELEASE The Hon'ble Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Thiru P. Venkataramanan, today (03.07.2026) personally inspected the renovation works underway at the old headquarters building of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC) at Keezhpakkam, Chennai. During the inspection, the Hon'ble Minister instructed the Chief Engineer to coordinate with the concerned officials, expedite the works, and take all necessary steps to complete them fully within the stipulated time frame. He noted that the accumulation of unnecessary old, unused items had made the environment unsuitable for work, and ordered the removal of unnecessary furniture and unused chairs from the premises where renovation works are underway. He stressed that officials and staff working in offices attached to the building under renovation must always keep their workspaces clean and properly maintained, and must continue to follow the necessary hygiene and maintenance practices to create a better office environment.
