CM Youth Award 2026 Application Deadline Extended to July 13

PRESS RELEASE Chief Minister's State Youth Award – Last date for applications extended to 13.07.2026 ----- To recognise the work of youth who render voluntary service for community development, the Chief Minister's State Youth Award is presented every year at the Independence Day celebrations to 3 men and 3 women. The last date for applications for the 2026 award, which was to close today (06.07.2026), has been extended to 13.07.2026. Men and women aged between 15 and 35 years are eligible to apply for this award. The applicant must have completed 15 years of age as on 01.04.2025 and must be within 35 years of age as on 31.03.2026. Only verifiable and measurable services rendered voluntarily for community welfare during the last financial year (01.04.2025 to 31.03.2026) will be considered. The applicant must have been a resident of Tamil Nadu for a minimum of 5 years prior to applying (proof must be enclosed). Employees of the Central and State Governments, public sector undertakings, universities, colleges and schools are not eligible to apply for this award. The applicant's goodwill and social influence among the local population will also be taken into consideration. Applications for this award must be submitted only through the website of the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, www.sdat.tn.gov.in. The last date for online applications has been extended to 5.45 PM on 13.07.2026. Eligible persons are therefore requested to apply through the website within the stipulated time. The 2026 award will be presented at the Independence Day celebrations to be held on 15.08.2026.
