Monthly PDS Grievance Camp Set for July 11 Across 19 Chennai Zones

Public Distribution System Grievance Day Camp for Public in Chennai's 19 Zones on 11.07.2026 To enable citizens to easily avail the benefits of the Public Distribution System, the Government has announced that a Public Grievance Redressal Camp will be held every month in each zone across Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, the monthly Public Distribution System Grievance Redressal Camp for July 2026 will be held at the 19 Zonal Assistant Commissioner offices of the Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department in Chennai on 11.07.2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Services related to the Public Distribution System, including addition and deletion of names in ration cards, change of address, and registration/change of mobile numbers, will be handled. Additionally, certificates of authorisation will be issued for senior citizens and others who are unable to visit fair price shops in person to collect their entitlements. Complaints regarding the functioning of public distribution shops, or shortcomings in goods or services sold in the private market, may be lodged by the public at this camp, and prompt action will be taken to resolve such grievances. Since the services will be authenticated via a one-time password (OTP) sent to the registered mobile number, ration card holders should carry their registered mobile phone when contacting the zonal office.
