Food Minister Inspects CM's Breakfast Scheme Quality at Mylapore Municipal School

PRESS RELEASE Inspection by Hon'ble Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Thiru. P. Venkataramanan Today, 13.07.2026, Hon'ble Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Thiru. P. Venkataramanan carried out an inspection at the Kotturpettai Corporation Primary School in the Mylapore Assembly Constituency. During the inspection, he reviewed the manner in which the Hon'ble Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme is being implemented. He inspected the quality, taste, hygiene, nutrition and preparation of the breakfast served to students, and sought feedback from students and teachers. He subsequently interacted with the students and enquired about the benefits of the breakfast scheme and the improvements achieved in school attendance and learning ability. The Hon'ble Minister also instructed the officials concerned to ensure that the breakfast scheme is delivered daily with quality and hygiene, to all students, at the designated time. He then inspected the school's classrooms, drinking water facilities, toilet maintenance, cleanliness and basic amenities for students, and instructed that the necessary steps be taken to continuously ensure a safe and quality educational environment for students.
