Registration Dept Holds Daily Online Sessions to Ease Confusion Over Mandatory Presenceless Registration

Registration Department Daily Online Consultation Meeting and Procedural Demonstration to Resolve Queries on Presenceless Registration Various reforms are being undertaken in the Tamil Nadu Registration Department with the objective of improving transparency and public convenience. As part of this, from 17/08/2026 onwards, the first sale of flats and plots will be mandatorily carried out through the "Presenceless Registration" system. Other document registrations are also planned to be brought under this system in the future.
