Registration Dept Adds Extra Token Slots for July 16 Ahead of Aadi Month Start

Registration Department Additional Token Slips Allotted at All Sub-Registrar Offices for the Benefit of the Public on 16.07.2026 (Thursday), the Last Day of the Tamil Month of Aani, Ahead of the Commencement of the Month of Aadi, in Response to Public Requests Since a large number of document registrations take place on days considered auspicious (subha muhurtham) or special occasions, additional token slips for document registration are allotted on such days in response to public requests. As the last day of the current Tamil month, 16.07.2026 (Thursday), falls just ahead of the commencement of the month of Aadi, a large number of document registrations are expected on that day, and requests have been received from various sections of the public to allot additional token slips. Accordingly, it has been ordered that on 16.07.2026 (Thursday), offices with one Sub-Registrar will be issued 150 token slips instead of 100, offices with two Sub-Registrars will be issued 300 token slips instead of 200, and the 100 offices where a large number of document registrations take place will be issued 150 regular token slips instead of 100, in addition to 4 extra "token" pre-booking slips over and above the 12 already provided, for the benefit of the public.
