Joseph Vijay, expressing condolences on the passing of Director Imayam Thiru Bharathiraja I was deeply saddened and grieved to learn of the passing of the veteran Tamil film director "Imayam" Thiru Bharathiraja. Director Thiru Bharathiraja created many successful films rooted in vibrant, authentic depictions of rural life, and carved out a distinct signature style in the world of Tamil cinema. He received numerous national and state honours for his work, including the Padma Shri, one of the nation's highest civilian awards. His contribution in nurturing generations of artistes will remain forever etched in the history of Tamil cinema. The passing of Director Imayam Thiru Bharathiraja is an irreparable loss to the Tamil film industry. I convey my deepest condolences to his grieving family, friends, colleagues in the film industry, and fans. I pray that his soul finds eternal peace at the feet of the Almighty.
