PRESS RELEASE Hon'ble Minister for Human Resources Development Thiru Tha. Varadhakumar reviews the activities and initiatives of the Training Department As per the guidance of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, a review meeting on the activities and initiatives of the Training Department was held today (12.06.2026) at Anna Institute of Management, Chennai, chaired by Hon'ble Minister for Human Resources Development Thiru Tha. Varadhakumar. At the review meeting, discussions were held on the induction training, in-service training, and coaching provided for examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, offered to government officials and employees through the Training Department. The Minister directed that training incorporating artificial intelligence and new technologies be provided to enhance the skills of government officials and employees. He also advised that coaching for competitive examinations be provided to candidates through training centres. The Minister inspected the training classrooms and hostel facilities for trainees at Anna Institute of Management and interacted with government officials undergoing training. He stated that government officials must properly undertake the training provided to them, perform their duties efficiently, and serve the public well. He also inspected the training classrooms and hostel facilities for candidates at the All India Civil Services Examination Coaching Centre and interacted with the candidates regarding their training.
