Last date for registration of application: 29.05.2026
Applications for admission of First Year Undergraduate students for the academic year 2026-27 in Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu have been under registration at www.tngasa.in since 07.05.2026. For the academic year 2026-2027, there are 126,959 admission seats (Shift-I – 101,022 / Shift-II – 25,937) across 159 subject combinations in the 181 Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Candidates may apply online for their preferred subject combinations in their preferred Government Arts and Science Colleges.
As of date (up to 12.05.2026), the number of candidates who have applied stands at 89,927. Students who are unable to apply online by themselves may apply through the Admission Facilitation Centres (AFC) available in all Government Arts and Science Colleges.
