PRESS RELEASE Hon'ble Minister for Human Resources Management Thiru T. Varathkumar interacts at the inaugural event for Civil Services Mains Examination training at the All India Civil Services Examination Training Centre. In accordance with the guidance of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, an inaugural event for the Union Public Service Commission Mains Examination training was held today (22.06.2026) at the Chennai All India Civil Services Examination Training Centre, functioning under the Training Department, chaired by Hon'ble Minister for Human Resources Management Thiru T. Varathkumar. At this event, the Hon'ble Minister interacted with the aspirants admitted for the Mains Examination training. He congratulated the 81 aspirants who trained at the All India Civil Services Examination Training Centre and cleared the Civil Services Preliminary Examination. The Hon'ble Minister stated that all steps would be taken to make the activities of the training centre beneficial to the aspirants, and that in the future, a larger number of aspirants would be admitted at the training centre to be built in Anna Nagar. He noted that students from Tamil Nadu should succeed in greater numbers in the Civil Services Examination and hold senior administrative positions at the national level, and extended his heartfelt wishes to that end.
