Press Release Public Auction of Scrapped Police Vehicles It is informed that condemned police vehicles belonging to the office of the Additional Director General of Police, Crime, will be auctioned on 02.07.2026 at 11.00 A.M. at the CBCID Complex, Egmore, Chennai – 600 008. Interested persons who wish to participate in the auction may attend the auction venue before 10.00 A.M. on 02.07.2026 and pay an entry fee of Rs.100/-. The successful bidders shall immediately remit the bid amount in cash and, within two days, pay the applicable GST amount to the respective GST account and submit proof of payment to this office. Thereafter, release orders for the condemned police vehicles will be issued. All participants are requested to produce a copy of their Aadhaar Card before participating in the auction.
