PRESS RELEASE As per the guidance of Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, a review meeting on the works of the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu was held under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Selvi S. Keerthana. Today (24.06.2026), at the conference hall of the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT) office at Egmore, Chennai, Hon'ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Selvi S. Keerthana, in the presence of SIPCOT Managing Director Thiru C.A. Raman, IAS, held discussions with officials from all divisions and reviewed the works being undertaken on behalf of SIPCOT. During the review, the Hon'ble Minister put forward the following suggestions: With the objective of the growth of the State's industrial sector, steps should be taken to upgrade SIPCOT's industrial parks with modern technological facilities; industries operating within existing SIPCOT industrial parks must be ensured to use chemical substances following proper procedures and safety measures, and the concerned project officers should monitor this daily and submit reports to the head office.
