Aavin Denies Media Reports of Reduced Milk Supply in Chennai

Press Clarification Certain sections of the media have reported that Aavin has substantially reduced the supply of milk in the Chennai Metro area. These reports are factually incorrect and do not reflect the actual position. It is hereby clarified that Aavin continues to supply all variants of milk across Chennai Metro without interruption. On an average, Aavin supplies approximately 14.50 lakh litres of milk per day to consumers in Chennai Metro through its extensive distribution network. Comparison of Average Sales - June 2025 vs. June 2026: Month: Metro Milk Sales — June-2025 (In LLPD): 14.46 — June-2026 (In LLPD): 14.82 — Difference: +(0.36) Milk supply has increased by 36,000 litres compared to the corresponding period last year. There has been no reduction in the supply of any milk variant. Milk distribution is being maintained in accordance with normal operational requirements and prevailing consumer demand. Aavin remains committed to ensuring the uninterrupted availability of milk to consumers through its established distribution network.
