TN Invites Applications for CM's State Youth Award 2026

PRESS RELEASE Chief Minister's State Youth Award for the year 2026 - Last date to apply: 06.07.2026 In order to recognise the service of young people contributing to community development, the "Chief Minister's State Youth Award" is presented every year on Independence Day to 3 men and 3 women aged between 15 and 35 years. The award carries a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000, a certificate of appreciation, and a medal. Accordingly, the Chief Minister's State Youth Award for the year 2026 will be presented at the Independence Day celebrations to be held on 15.08.2026. The eligibility criteria for this award are as follows: 1. Men/women aged between 15 and 35 years may apply. Applicants must have completed 15 years of age as on 1 April 2025 (01.04.2025) and be under 35 years of age as on 31 March 2026 (31.03.2026). 2. Only services rendered during the last financial year (2025-2026), i.e., from 01.04.2025 to 31.03.2026, will be considered. 3. Applicants must have been residents of Tamil Nadu for at least 5 years prior to applying for the award (proof must be attached). 4. Applicants must have voluntarily rendered service for the welfare of the community. Such service must be verifiable and quantifiable. 5. Persons employed by the Central/State governments, public sector undertakings, universities/colleges/schools are not eligible to apply for this award. 6. The applicant's standing and influence among the local populace will be taken into account during the selection process. 7. The last date to apply online is 5.45 P.M. on 06.07.2026.
