Viswanathan Considering the welfare of teachers working in Government Arts, Science and Education colleges under the Department of Higher Education, the Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education has stated that applications for the General Counselling for staff transfers for the year 2026-27 can be submitted online from 30.06.2026 to 07.07.2026. The Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education stated as follows: As per the guidance of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, orders have been issued to conduct General Counselling for staff transfers for the year 2026-27, keeping in view the welfare of teachers working in Government Arts, Science and Education colleges under the Department of Higher Education. Accordingly, arrangements have been made for teachers, librarians, and physical education directors working in Government Arts, Science and Education colleges functioning under the Department of Higher Education to apply online for the General Counselling for staff transfers for the year 2026-27, from 30.06.2026 to 07.07.2026. Teachers, librarians and physical education directors under the Directorate of Collegiate Education are requested to apply at the website www.dcetransfer.in to participate in this General Counselling and benefit from it.
