As per the orders of Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, the Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered the release of water from the Parur Periya Eri in Pochampalli Taluk, Krishnagiri District, into the eastern and western main channels of the tank for irrigation, for the first crop (Mudhu Pokku) cultivation covering 2397 acres.
