As per the orders of Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, the Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered the release of water, subject to inflow and storage, from the Krishnagiri Reservoir in Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District, through the right and left bank canals, for the first crop cultivation of the year 2026-27, from 16.07.2026 to 12.11.2026, for 120 days, not exceeding a total of 1563 million cubic feet.
