Registrations open for IndiaSkills Competition 2027, gateway to WorldSkills Japan 2028

India Skills Competition 2027 Registration Open – Announcement Registrations have commenced for the IndiaSkills Competition 2027, which serves as the selection platform for identifying competitors to represent India at the WorldSkills Competition – Aichi, Japan 2028. Tamil Nadu has consistently emerged as one of the leading States in the IndiaSkills Competition. Over the years, participants from Tamil Nadu have brought pride to the State by winning several medals and accolades at both the IndiaSkills and WorldSkills Competitions. In the recently concluded IndiaSkills Competition, Tamil Nadu secured Second Place in the Overall National Rankings, and 12 participants from the State have been selected to represent India at the WorldSkills Competition – Shanghai, China 2026. The competition provides an excellent opportunity for young people to showcase their vocational and technical skills at the national and international levels. Participants who excel at the district, State, regional and national levels will have the opportunity to represent India at the WorldSkills Competition. Students, trainees and young professionals aged 16 to 25 years (age eligibility varies depending on the skill category) are eligible to participate in more than 60 skill categories and demonstrate their talents.
