NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION TO UNDER GRADUATE AYUSH COURSES (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/BNYS) FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR – 2026-27 SESSION
➢ Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the U.G. AYUSH Medical Degree Courses, namely BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS and BNYS for the academic year 2026-2027 in the Government and Self-Financing AYUSH Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Admissions shall be made under the Government Quota, Seats Surrendered to the Government, Management Quota and All India Quota (wherever applicable). Separate online applications shall be submitted for each quota, as prescribed in the respective Prospectuses.
➢ Prospectuses of the above-mentioned Courses can be downloaded from the official website: www.tnayushselection.org.
➢ Applications will be accepted through online mode only. Applications will not be accepted through any other mode under any circumstances.
➢ Admission to the U.G. AYUSH Medical Degree Courses, namely BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS, shall be made purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in the NEET (UG)-2026 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission to the BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) Medical Degree Course shall be made purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary Course (HSC) Examination, in accordance with the eligibility criteria prescribed in the Prospectus.

➢ Cost of Application form: Govt. Quota – OC, BC, BCM & MBC/DNC Candidates: Rs. 500/-; SC, SCA & ST Candidates: Exempted; All India Quota (For All Communities): Rs. 1,000/-; Management Quota (For All Communities): Rs. 1,000/-.
➢ Special Category Candidates shall pay an additional fee of Rs. 100/- for each Special Category applied for.
➢ Special Category Candidates applying under Government Special Quota must, after applying online, download the filled-in application along with self-attested copies of all required documents and send/submit in person to: "The Secretary, Selection Committee, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Arignar Anna Govt.
