CONDOLENCE MESSAGE It is with great shock and grief that I learnt of the death of Thiru Ra. Balu of Narasingapettai village, who lost his life due to a soil collapse during deepening work at a borewell in the Thiruvidaimarudur area, Thanjavur District. I convey my deepest condolences and sympathies to his grieving family and relatives. The Government has ordered that all necessary treatment be provided, at Government expense, to Thiru Ra. Maruthuvanan, who was injured in this accident, for his full recovery. I would also like to state that the Government has ordered an inquiry into this tragic incident, with appropriate action to be taken.
