CM Joseph Vijay hands appointment orders to 126 TNPSC Group-I and TNPCB selectees

Joseph Vijay presents appointment orders to 126 persons selected by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for Group-I posts and various posts in the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. C. Joseph Vijay, today (29.07.2026), at an event held by the Human Resources Management Department at the Secretariat, presented appointment orders to 78 persons selected for Group-I posts and 48 persons selected for various posts in the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, a total of 78 persons have been selected for Group-I posts, comprising 28 Deputy Collectors, 7 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 19 Assistant Commissioners (Commercial Taxes), 15 Assistant Directors (Rural Development), 3 District Employment Officers and 6 Assistant Commissioners (Labour). Notably, this is the first time that the post of Assistant Commissioner (Labour) under the Labour Welfare Department has been included in Group-I of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Further, through the Combined Technical Services Examination of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, 48 persons have been selected for posts in the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, comprising 40 Assistant Engineers, 6 Environmental Scientists and 2 Grade-II Librarians. Accordingly, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu today presented appointment orders to the 78 persons selected for Group-I posts and the 48 persons selected for various posts in the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, and extended his congratulations to all of them.
