Press Release GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU DIRECTORATE OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHY ARUMBAKKAM, CHENNAI – 600 106 NOTIFICATION FOR EXTENSION OF THE LAST DATE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION REGISTRATION FOR ADMISSION TO UNDER GRADUATE AYUSH COURSES (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/BNYS) FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2026-27 SESSION Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the U.G. AYUSH Medical Degree Courses, namely BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS and BNYS, for the academic year 2026-2027, in the Government and Self-Financing AYUSH Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Admissions shall be made under the Government Quota, Seats Surrendered to the Government, Management Quota, and All India Quota (wherever applicable). Separate online applications shall be submitted for each quota, as prescribed in the respective Prospectuses. Prospectuses of the above-mentioned Courses can be downloaded from the official website: www.tnayushselection.org. Applications will be accepted through online mode only. Applications will not be accepted through any mode other than online under any circumstances. Admission to the U.G. AYUSH Medical Degree Courses, namely BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS, shall be made purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in the NEET (UG) - 2026 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission to the BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) Medical Degree Course shall be made purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary Course (HSC) Examination, in accordance with the eligibility criteria prescribed in the Prospectus. Further details such as eligibility criteria, cost of application, fee details, counselling schedule and other information can be found in the respective Prospectuses available on the official website: www.tnayushselection.org. Candidates are instructed to carefully go through the respective Prospectuses and be clear about all the instructions regarding submission of the online application, and to upload the necessary original documents in PDF/JPEG format wherever required. Online registration fee, online processing fee, and advance tuition fee should be paid through the online bank payment portal on the website only. Candidates should apply separately for each quota, namely Government Quota and Seats Surrendered to the Government, Management Quota Seats, and All India Quota seats.
