Mohamed Parvez, presents promotion orders to instructors of Government Industrial Training Institutes With the objective of ensuring that decisions relating to the promotion of employees are made transparently and fairly, and in keeping with the transparent administrative practices adopted by the Government, and in response to a long-standing demand from employees, the Government, under the leadership of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, introduced for the first time on 30.07.2026, at the Directorate of Employment and Training, a system of granting promotion orders to instructors serving at various levels in Industrial Training Institutes through a computerised counselling process based on seniority and preference. As a result, 136 Junior Training Officers were promoted to the post of Assistant Training Officer.
