Press Release The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) is organising a webinar on 13.08.2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the theme "Advancing End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) Recycling and Resource Recovery". The programme is being conducted as a pre-event to the 10th World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF 2026) on the theme "Circular Economy Transition for People and Prosperity" being organised by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) in association with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The programme aims to promote awareness on sustainable End-of-Life Vehicle management, recycling, and resource recovery, while highlighting circular economy approaches for the automotive sector. This programme comprises expert talks from officials of TNPCB, CPCB and representatives from industries engaged in End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) management and recycling. Through this initiative, TNPCB seeks to encourage stakeholder engagement on scientific ELV recycling, responsible resource recovery, and circular economy practices for sustainable waste management in Tamil Nadu.
