M.Ed admissions to government teacher training colleges open August 11

Online application for M.Ed. admissions at Government Colleges of Education to begin from 11.08.2026 — Information from Hon'ble Higher Education Minister Thiru Po. Viswanathan Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education Thiru Po. Viswanathan has announced that online application registration for admission to the M.Ed. programme at Government Colleges of Education for the academic year 2026-27 will be held from 11.08.2026 to 20.08.2026. Regarding this, the Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education stated the following: There are 300 seats available across 6 Government Colleges of Education in Tamil Nadu offering M.Ed. courses. Applications for admission of candidates to these seats for the academic year 2026-27 will begin online from 11.08.2026. Candidates may register their applications through the website www.tngasa.in. Arrangements have been made for registration on the above website until 20.08.2026. Subsequently, the rank list for this will be published on 25.08.2026. Admission of candidates will take place from 27.08.2026 to 31.08.2026. Further, first-year classes will commence from 01.09.2026. This is what the Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education stated.
