CM thanks all parties for unanimous resolution mandating Tamil Thai Vazhthu at events

Social media post issued by Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru S. Joseph Vijay expressing thanks for the unanimous passage, by all parties in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, of the Government's special resolution mandating that the Tamil Thai Vazhthu song be compulsorily sung first before the commencement of every event across Tamil Nadu Tamil is not merely a language; it is a thought, a culture, a civilisation, an identity. That Tamil is our life-breath and Tamil is our very emotion is something our Government of Tamil Nadu has fully realised. Moreover, this historic and special resolution — aimed at honouring and safeguarding the antiquity, uniqueness, greatness, distinction of the Tamil language and the sentiments of Tamil people — is a supreme tribute paid to Tamil Thai (Mother Tamil). This auspicious day on which this resolution was passed will remain etched in the history of Tamil Nadu forever.
