Thiru P. Sengodaramanan, who was elected as MLA from the Mylapore constituency and has now taken charge as a Minister, in accordance with the directives of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to redress public grievances, today (16.05.2026) at around 11 AM inspected the renovation and infrastructure improvement works being carried out at a cost of Rs. 12.22 crore at the 4-acre Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore.
He also visited the men's and women's gymnasiums located within the park premises and instructed the supervisor to ensure that the exercise equipment is used properly and kept clean. He also directed that notice boards be installed.
During the inspection, he instructed Corporation officials and contractors to take necessary steps to open the park for public use at the earliest and to keep him informed of further progress.
