At the Industries Department conference hall of the Tamil Nadu Government Secretariat today (18.05.2026), Hon'ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Tmt. C. Keerthana, in the presence of Industries Department Additional Chief Secretary Dr. S. Vinayakumar, IAS, reviewed the functioning of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation and Guidance Tamil Nadu.
At this review meeting, various projects being implemented through the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation — including aerospace and defence, logistics, space, special industrial parks, knowledge and innovation, and the city gas distribution scheme — were reviewed, along with SIPCOT's land acquisition works for developing industrial parks and preliminary infrastructure works. The Hon'ble Minister reviewed these matters with officials.
Further, in line with the election manifesto commitment of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, she gave guidance for implementing new industrial projects.
