At this review meeting, the Hon'ble Chief Minister was briefed that the scheme to provide 200 units of free electricity to all domestic power connections consuming within 500 units — the key promise that was the first document he signed upon assuming office — has been in force since 10.5.2026.

Keeping in mind the summer and the upcoming monsoon season, it was explained that adequate stocks of essential power equipment such as electric poles, wires and distribution transformers have been kept in reserve in advance.
