Tamilnadu Institute of Labour Studies, Ambattur, Chennai – 98 Last date for Submission of applications in Labour Management - UG, PG, and Post Graduate Diploma Courses An announcement from the Director, Tamilnadu Institute of Labour Studies The Tamilnadu Institute of Labour Studies, Chennai-98 is conducting B.A. (Labour Management) and M.A. (Labour Management) Under Graduate and Post Graduate Degree Courses, PGDLA (Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Administration) Part-Time Course, and Diploma in Labour Laws with Administrative Law (Week end) course. The UG/PG degree courses are affiliated to the University of Madras and the Diploma courses are recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The B.A. (Labour Management), M.A. (Labour Management) Under Graduate and Post Graduate Degree Courses, PGDLA Part-time course and DLL with AL week-end course are included in the Tamil Nadu Factories Labour Welfare Officers Rules as a preferential qualification for appointment as Labour Welfare Officer. It is notable that students who complete this institute's courses go on to work as Human Resource Development Managers in various industries. Admission is open for B.A. (Labour Management) and M.A. (Labour Management) Under Graduate and Post Graduate Degree Courses, PGDLA (Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Administration) Part-Time Course, and Diploma in Labour Laws with Administrative Law (Week end) course, for the academic year 2026-2027. Those who have completed +2 may apply for B.A. (Labour Management), and any graduate may apply for M.A. (Labour Management), PGDLA and DLL with A.L. courses. Selection of candidates will be based on marks as per Government rules. Hostel facility is available only for male students of the Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. The last date for applying to the B.A. (Labour Management), M.A. (Labour Management), PGDLA and DLL (A.L.) degree/postgraduate/diploma courses conducted by this institute has been extended to 29.05.2026.
