MCCI Delegation Meets CM, Discusses Ease of Doing Business in Tamil Nadu

PRESS RELEASE Team from the Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MCCI) meets Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay A senior team from the Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MCCI) met and held discussions with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat today (18.05.2026). During the meeting, discussions were held on further simplifying business processes in Tamil Nadu and on measures to thereby promote industrial and economic growth. The Hon'ble Chief Minister commended MCCI's important role as an effective bridge between the government and industry. He said the views and suggestions raised by the MCCI delegation would be carefully considered and steps would be taken to address them. He also requested MCCI to continue extending its cooperation and guidance in creating an investor-friendly environment. The meeting was attended by MCCI President and Advisor to Comptplast Wenmar Thiru Ramkumar Shankar, MCCI Vice President and Delphi-TVS Chairman Thiru A. Viswanathan, and MCCI Secretary-General Tmt.
