Joseph Vijay I was deeply saddened to learn about the tragic demise of Thiru Balamurugan (aged 41), S/o. Sarkaraiappan, a resident of the area, who succumbed to severe burn injuries while undergoing treatment at Sivakasi Government General Hospital, and Thiru Ahamed Ibrahim (aged 66), S/o. Kadar Mydeen, residing at Tirunelveli Pettai, who passed away on the way to Virudhunagar Government Medical College Hospital for further treatment, following an unexpected fire accident at a private fireworks factory today (13.08.2026) in Vadapatti village, Sivakasi taluk, Virudhunagar district.
