Joseph Vijay A delegation of representatives from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) met and held discussions with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat today (18.05.2026). During the meeting, discussions were held on measures to accelerate industrial growth and investment in the state, in line with Tamil Nadu's long-term economic objectives. The Hon'ble Chief Minister commended the significant contribution FICCI has made to Tamil Nadu's industrial growth. He said the views and suggestions raised by the FICCI delegation would be carefully considered and steps would be taken to address them. He also requested that the delegation's guidance and suggestions continue as Tamil Nadu pursues its goal of becoming the country's leading economic power. The meeting was attended by FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council Convenor Thiru G.S.K. Velu, Co-Chairmen Thiru Poojesh Nagarajan and Dr. Ashok Varghese, FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council Chairman Thiru R.
