The Chief Minister launched 'Presenceless Registration' in the Registration Department for initial plot and apartment sales.

Joseph Vijay Launched 'Presenceless Registration' Online Scheme in the Registration Department To further enhance transparency and efficiency in registration procedures and provide hassle-free services to the public, the 'Presenceless Registration' system was inaugurated on 17.08.2026 at the Secretariat. Under this system, the first sale of approved layout plots and the first sale of apartments can be registered completely online. By submitting documents online with Aadhaar biometric/iris authentication, the necessity for executants, claimants, and witnesses to visit the Sub-Registrar office in person is eliminated. Key Highlights: 1. Users can create logins on the registration portal and submit documents online. 2. Aadhaar verification of executants, claimants, and witnesses via fingerprint / iris scanner. 3. Registered documents digitally signed by the Sub-Registrar can be downloaded directly from the user login for up to 60 days. 4.
