Press Release No : 569 Date: 21.08.2026 PRESS RELEASE TAMIL NADU BIODIVERSITY BOARD The 13th Board Meeting of the Tamil Nadu Biodiversity Board (TNBB) was held on 21.08.2026 under the chairmanship of the Hon'ble Minister for Forests & Chairperson, TNBB, Thiru. R.V. Ranjith Kumar at the Secretariat, Chennai. The meeting was presided over by Tmt. Kakarla Usha, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Environment, Climate Change and Forests Department. During the meeting, the Hon'ble Minister for Forests emphasized the need to strengthen biodiversity conservation at the village level and to ensure that Benefit Sharing (ABS) amounts are disbursed to the right beneficiaries in a timely manner. Board members including Thiru A.
