Joseph Vijay in the Legislative Assembly under Rule 110 Regarding Chennai Airport Infrastructure and Parandur Greenfield Airport Project Hon'ble Speaker, To meet Chennai's expanding aviation demands, modernization of the existing Chennai International Airport at Meenambakkam has been undertaken alongside plans for the greenfield airport at Parandur. With the commissioning of Terminal-3 handling 35 million passengers and the proposed Terminal-5 adding another 20 million capacity, Chennai Airport's total handling capacity will expand to 55 million passengers annually.
