Food Minister Venkataramanan Reviews TNSC Warehouse Operations, Monsoon Storage Readiness

PRESS RELEASE Hon'ble Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Thiru Venkataramanan visited the Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation on 20.05.2026 and reviewed the Corporation's operations and administrative efficiency. He enquired into how food grains procured from farmers and government agencies are safely stored in Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation godowns, how periodic maintenance is being carried out, and how grains are being safely stored in the Corporation's godowns located across various parts of Tamil Nadu ahead of the coming monsoon season. He advised officials to expedite periodic maintenance work and to achieve full storage capacity in the godowns. The review was attended by Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation Managing Director Dr. Pe.
