Press Release No : 600 Date: 28.08.2026 PRESS RELEASE Allocation of Additional Registration Tokens Across Sub-Registrar Offices in View of Public Demand for Auspicious Muhurtham Day in Avani Month In view of the high volume of property deed registrations expected on the auspicious muhurtham day of 31.08.2026 in the month of Avani, the Registration Department has ordered the allocation of additional booking tokens: • For offices with a single Sub-Registrar: increased from 100 to 150 tokens. • For offices with two Sub-Registrars: increased from 200 to 300 tokens. • For 100 high-volume registration offices: standard tokens increased to 150 along with 4 additional Tatkal tokens in addition to the regular 12 Tatkal tokens.
