Hon'ble Speaker,
(i) Semiconductor & Electronics Manufacturing Park at Maduramangalam, Kanchipuram District (Rs. 175 Crore):
To attract large-scale investments and elevate Tamil Nadu's share in the semiconductor sector, a dedicated Semiconductor & Electronics Manufacturing Park with world-class R&D infrastructure will be established by SIPCOT at Maduramangalam. The park is expected to attract over Rs. 2,000 crore in investments and generate 5,000 direct and indirect jobs.
(ii) Coimbatore FinTech Hub (Rs. 400 Crore):
To foster FinTech innovation and digital financial services, TIDCO will establish the 'Coimbatore FinTech Hub' under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode with incubation spaces, cutting-edge labs, and skilling facilities.
(iii) Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in Tiruchirappalli Region:
Following up on the budget commitment for dry ports and logistics parks, TIDCO will undertake project preparation and establish a Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in Tiruchirappalli to serve central Tamil Nadu's MSMEs and heavy manufacturing clusters.
