a mission-mode programme protecting irrigation infrastructure, boosting groundwater recharge, and completing district-level water infrastructure projects: check dams and gates in Cauvery/Thirumanimuthar areas (Tirupur/Coimbatore), Erthalav-Pulikarai linking (Dharmapuri), Mel Vaippar and Mudukiyar river restoration (Virudhunagar/Rajapalayam), Ramnad-Jambunathi linking canal (Then Kasi/Alangulam), Tamiraparani-Karumeniyaru-Nambiyaru linking (Tirunelveli/Thoothukudi) and other major schemes across the state.
