(2) Balanced Regional Growth Fund Statement — TN currently has a 3:1 income gap between developed and backward districts; this plans development for all backward districts including the 12 most backward, closing the geographic disparity. (3) Tamil Nadu Culture & Heritage Fund Statement — restoring and protecting heritage sites, funding ongoing preservation/maintenance work, and taking Tamil culture to the world stage. (4) Education & Healthcare Equity Fund Statement — eliminating quality gaps between urban and rural schools/hospitals, ensuring immediate filling of teacher/doctor/nurse vacancies, and ensuring world-class education and healthcare for every citizen. (5) Environment Fund Statement — protecting coastal resources, revitalising drought-hit districts, improving urban flood-prevention management, and adopting new agricultural methods suited to a changing climate.
