Source Standards & Whitelist

TNTrack only accepts evidence linked directly to domains on its active whitelist. To prevent astroturfing and disinformation, evidence must originate from audited primary government records or established independent news outlets.

Two-Tier Source Architecture

Our verification methodology classifies evidence into two distinct categories:

  • Government & Official Portals (Primary Record): Used as the primary source of record to confirm that a formal executive order (G.O.), legislative bill, or official policy action was issued.
  • Independent Press Outlets: Used to verify ground-level outcomes, report on execution progress, and corroborate or challenge state claims.

Criteria for Whitelisting

To be considered for inclusion on the whitelist, a news publication must satisfy the following criteria:

  • At least six months of continuous publication history.
  • Identifiable editorial leadership and named masthead.
  • A transparent, public corrections policy.

What is Not Accepted

Social media posts, party websites, non-bylined press releases, YouTube videos, WhatsApp forwards, anonymous blogs, and any source with a financial or ownership relationship to a political party are strictly excluded to preserve non-partisan integrity.
